Welcome to Street Action's online gallery of 'Our Streets' photography exhibition, which first appeared at the Menier Gallery in Southwark, November 8th - 12th 2011. The gallery features projects from our three photographers - Lizzie Everard, Bex Morton and Matt Oldfield - who have visited Street Action partners in South Africa, Burundi and Kenya, and reflect different aspects of Street Action's work with street child organisations. There was a phrase we focused on while preparing for the exhibition which echoes our heart within this project:
I exist as you exist; I am connected to you in your triumphs and
your challenges. When you are diminished, I am diminished;
when you are raised up, I am raised up with you.
It is our desire that you may become a collaborator in the story with street children, to make a difference for them by supporting the work of Street Action. Enjoy browsing these images, buy prints, and follow the links through to our main site to find out more about our work.
The exhibition will be touring around the UK in 2012, so do visit the site again for regular updates and news on this and other related projects.
These images are all available as prints, with all proceeds going towards the work of Street Action. If you would like to order a print, please follow the links to the left which will take you to our order form.
Thank you.
